KIOYDIOLABS EDLAVP

What is EDLAVP?

EDLAVP is short for Environmental Data Logging and Visualization Platform. It is a platform for collecting, logging, visualising and analyzing environmental data collected using sensors.

The parts of EDLAVP

EDLAVP has multiple parts. It all begins with the physical device, which all the sensors are attached to. The physical device is based on an Arduino. The weather station itself, runs the EDLAVP firmware.

The firmware polls the sensors attached to the Arduino and sends the data via a POST request to the EDLAVP API. The API stores the data in an InfluxDB database, a time series database which is incredibly fast even with large amounts of data, such as environmental and sensor data.

The user can finally access the data via the EDLAVP WebView application which is the website you are currently on.

Getting Started

Users

To use EDLAVP WebView, just select a tool from the sidebar on the left.
The tools are easy to use and if anything is unclear there is an info-box explaining it.

Developers

To develop your own apps that take advantage of the EDLAVP API you can read the API documentation (coming soon).
You can also use the API Query Builder tool on the sidebar under the "Developer" category.
